Christi is taking on all comers and Sophie by my understanding of a hetero romantic, an asexual person with a romantic interest in the opposite sex or gender. (that was a new for me, I had to look it. I had do no idea that was a thing so thank you for teaching me something. If I'm wrong you need to let me know.)

With information in hand, I see no reason why they can't have a happy little relationship. I dunno What's gonna happen or if any couples will happen or be worth a damn. But that won't keep from acting a fool! 

Past that, people are set in stone. Things change, how we feel, who we love, what we hate and love. The same is true for our characters.
