There [i]are[/i] defenses, but the K-bots broke through.  I think if the mods know they can just sift out the newly signed up spammers.  It's currently around [url=https://www.google.com.au/search?q=korean+time&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=UoBjV_etAobYU7WSlvAL]8 am[/url] Korean time, so maybe that's when their scripts start running?  If Mahz wants, he can turn off registrations to stop the influx.
