Kathryn Miller
Kathryn pushed past the person over her father. She wanted a chance to see him one more time, with out a gun to her face. The bullet that Deon shot had cut right through Hank and his vest. "Oh my god, Oh my god?! Daddy?! What do I do? How do I fix this?!" She never took any major medical courses, at a young age she was trying to study law. The only thing she knew in medical was basic CPR training and some simple stuff her dad showed her between his tours. "HOW DO I FIX YOU?!" Hank was in at out at this point, losing blood rapidly. Kathryn saw only one way to save her father's life. Kathryn grabbed her father's arm and bit into it. Hank reacted... sharply. "What the fuck are you doing?!" She wasn't sure how to react to this other then backing off. "Saving... your life?" Hank looks at the bite wound on his arm. "Are you... Are you trying to turn me?" Kathryn was hesitant to respond. "Yes?" Hank had a look of confusion and disappointment on his dying face. You've been a vampire for over ten years, and you don't know how to turn someone? It's more then just Biting into them violently for crying out loud. If that was the case the vampire population would be tripled, at least! he looked at the bite wound again. "I mean, there's venom Kat, you can't just go biting people expectin'... expecting them to... to turn..." He passed out at this point. Too weak to stay awake. Anyone with sensitive hearing could hear his weak heart was struggling to pump what blood remained in his system.
Deon Erickson
Deon has seen a lot of things in his time. Disintegration bullets were not one of them. Though he has seen someone try to use them, but they burned up in the gun causing all sorts of problems for the user. The one that had hit him though had about removed his arm. Still was trying to remove his arm. He would need someone to re attach it once the acid stopped working its way through him. In his condition he was bound to be followed. He didn't have the staff to hold the building. No, he didn't even have the funds to pay them anymore. Too many people knew about this place now, billions of dollars, gone. All of it, just gone. The amount of vampires he would lose trying to retake the place would cost him greatly. He had back up plans in case. But they relied too heavily on other factors. And so far things were going so wrong. Deon her the foot steps behind him. Fast, but not paced. A young blood probably. Deon stopped long enough to let the young blood get in arms reach. Then as she passed by by him Deon reached out with his good arm and grabbed her neck raising her off the ground. "You tried to follow me alone? Even with my handicap that's a big problem for you." He looked at her for a moment. "You're one of mine, I want to say your name began with a K. Was it Kathryn?" He hesitated. "No, same initial sound. Kate? Ya Kate's the name." His grip was strong, but he had no intentions on killing her. "Are you ready to help serve your species? Kate." He smiled, his other arm barely holding onto it's respective shoulder. But that didn't matter, he now had in his possession a vampire from his own blood line. Someone he could use to raise father.
