Soon enough, Hikaru finished her lunch and looked at the clock. "Still some time left it seems", she thought out loud. [i]Since it's spring, I might as well go outside. Let some sun touch my face or something...[/i] She nodded. This seemed like a good idea, especially after the fiasco that has been the morning so far. [i]Great start to a first year of high school... I only intended to be, like ten minutes late[/i] Sunk into heavy thoughts, she left the building aimed at one of the small patches of grass where she flopped down and closed her eyes to enjoy the sun. [i]Strange, isn't it? I might just end up being booted here...[/i] Hikaru chuckled at this thought. [i]No matter how hard I try, I always revert to my usual self. Not that I wouldn't like it...[/i] There she lay with a faint smile in her face, not of happiness, but of sadness. The wind swirled through her hair and carried the smell of the cherry trees to her nose and created a feeling of tranquility she hadn't felt in a long while. [i]Maybe this place is different... just maybe...[/i]
