[*]Personality: Tyaethe is a good person, not a nice one. She protects the innocent, never fails to put herself in harms' way for the sake of someone less durable, and almost never fails to comply with her duties. On the other hand, she's at the same time sullen and far too hot-headed--outright aggressive if someone tries to make her remove the armour. She also has minimal desire to avoid injury to herself and never has done. [*]Brief Backstory: Over two hundred years ago, a paladin of Mayon failed in her duty to protect the priestess, chasing after a false alarm and only taking out those instigating the diversion. Since Elionne left, Tyaethe has without fail resisted any attempts to remove her armour, stating that only the original captain could order her to disarm herself like that. This stubbornness aside, she has steadfastly served as a teacher to subsequent captains and a link to their origins--when not causing tactical problems all of her own. [*]Equipment: Tyaethe's equipment is, of course, her armour, shield, and sword. None of it seems to have been created with subtlety in mind: the sword and shield are as tall as she is, and the armour is disturbingly thick. They're also blessed to repair under moonlight... which is useful when the person inside the armour refuses to remove it, even after a battle. [*]Skills: As a highly experienced paladin, Tyaethe is actually capable of wielding her equipment effectively despite it being far too unwieldy for most to deal with. That isn't to say that she can overcome the limitations imposed by such bulky armour--her range of motion and speed are unfortunately restricted--no cartwheeling here. On the rare occasions where she's actually calm in a conflict, her experience makes her a valuable source of input for analysing the battlefield. Otherwise...
