[indent]Honey’s very conflicted about Cecily. Being around is rather hard for him, considering how intimate and affectionate she is, and it frankly makes him a bit uncomfortable and he never knows what to say or do. So, instead, he just stuffs his face if there’s food nearby so he doesn’t have to talk. Despite how uncomfortable Honey can be around her, he admires her – he desires to be her friend because of how easy she is with people. He doesn’t really know how to be her friend, though, so he just nods along when she talks to him, mostly. It’s easier for Honey to talk to her over text message, like with most people, because that way she can’t constantly seek physical affection.

They originally met in the cafeteria on the third day of Honey's second year at the academy. Honey had arrived late and his usual empty table had been taken. He was about to dump his untouched food in the trash and walk out when Cecily offered a seat next to her for Honey. Honey, being polite, and slightly hungry, decided to sit. Their first meeting didn't yield much of a friendship and Honey booked it before she could ask for anything to keep in touch with him - he even made up his mind to put her on the avoid list. The next day, however, he had to eat with her again (he got the hiccups because he ate so fast) and the day after that and after that. Eventually, he ended up giving her his phone number and by Honey's third year, they had a weird slight friendship. A friendship where Cecily did the talking and Honey nodded along, mildly distant. It's really only over text message that he talks back, but even then he's reserved.[/indent]

It's just when she's around, Honey somehow ends up having more social dilemmas than usual. They met on campus and A.J. had no problem talking to him when he had meant to retrieve a dropped piece of paper by her feet, mostly small talk and of the likes. Honey's semi-unresponsiveness led her to become disinterested real quick, however. Honey doesn't have to try much to avoid A.J., as she seems just as reluctant to talk to him unless she's trying to coax him into some social encounter or another. [indent]Honey has mixed feelings about his friendship with Birdie. On one hand, Birdie’s sudden and blunt nature often catches him by surprise and it always takes a moment to recover, but on the other hand she does all the work in the friendship. Honey doesn’t have to bother with talking as she’s always rambling to him, probably in hopes of getting him to talk more – [i]he refuses[/i]. She’s also constantly complimenting him, calling him cute and sending him cheesy pickup lines – while he usually flushes when they’re face to face and mutter a half-assed compliment on her hair or shoes, he can’t help but laugh once in the privacy of his room. They text a lot, back and forth, and Honey tends to enjoy the conversations they have and sometimes replies more than two words (though it’s not as common). Honey does find her attractive – she is the daughter of Aphrodite, after all – but he would set himself on fire before he would tell her that. 

The first time they met was super awkward, probably one of the most awkward moments of Honey’s life. It can’t even be considered a conversation when all they were doing was sitting next to each other after exchanging pleasantries. The second time, however, Birdie was a lot friendlier and Honey resigned himself to his fate. Birdie is on the avoid list, but she’s not in the Top Ten as, though he might pretend, Honey does enjoy her company.

They get along fairly well in their emails, as Honey often lends an ear to Felicity when she needs to get things off his chest and always responds to her immediately. They talk so extensively that Honey picks up sometimes when Felicity isn’t like her usual self, though he doesn’t know why. The anonymity of their relationship typically allows Honey to be a lot more forward with how he feels, not really afraid of making a bad impression – but he doesn’t talk about himself that much. Despite their intimate friendship, Honey doesn’t like divulging personal information and remains a bit reserved. However, he doesn’t go out of his way to hide little things and so Felicity might have picked up personal information in passing. Lately, emails between them have been slightly spotty, and it worries Honey that she might be losing interest in their friendship, but he’s always quick to respond to her anyways.

Honey and Felicity first made contact when Honey stumbled onto Felicity's art on an online site. He had commented on it, complimenting her, and she had replied. Soon they were sending PMs and eventually exchanged emails. Honey likes to see Felicity's new artwork a lot and has even printed a few to hang on his walls.
