She laughed a little as she followed him out to the car. Looks like she still had to help him buy a lot of dog stuff when they got back to the clinic. At his question, she paused for a moment. The look that crossed her expression then was different than before. Slowly, she pulled the car off to the side of the road. Her green eyes lost their luster, and the fire behind them turned into a saddened daze. She parked the car and turned it off, her arms folding over the steering wheel. For a long time, she just stared at the hood of her car. "All the time." She whispered finally, turning her head to look out of her window and keep the back of her head to the man. "Sometimes, though.. I make the same wishes. There's....a few.. that I wish for every day." Her tone was softer when she spoke, and despite the accent, she sounded almost broken.
