[@Gilgex] [/center][hr][hr]Enveloped in a hug, Eddie could feel Mercury shaking. The mask clattered to the ground beneath them, and she hugged him back, watching fearfully as the boat passed the statue of liberty. Squeezing her eyes tightly, she waited for the release of death.

She blinked, breaking into a grin. She then chuckled a bit. Perhaps it had all just been nonsense after all, a cruel joke, a trick, something to taunt her and haunt her for the rest of her days.
