Mercury was laughing as Eddie blushed chugging all the water she could get her hands. On then stopped as a surge of pain rippled through his body again, and he heard/felt a cracking sound inside himself. It was throbbing it hurt so bad. 
[color=99ccff]"Have you ever met anyone else like you? Or um....What did that lady do to you? You seem to be in pain..."[/color]
Mercury looked up at Eddie with blurred vision, and he shook his head. [color=0099AF][b]”No, I’ve never met anyone like me before. “[/b][/color] Mercury gagged as he held his abdomen bending over slightly as he gasped for breath. [color=0099AF][b]”She stole from me, that device was stealing my life. I don’t know for sure… It’s causing my insides to feel like their splitting open. Like some sort of empty void like hole, and each time I feel this pain. It feels like it’s getting bigger. When I eat I feel a little better, but the relief… It doesn’t last very long.“[/b][/color]
He slowly sat up leaning his back against the backrest. He shut his eyes taking deep calming breaths trying to push through the pain. [color=0099AF][b]”I swear when I get my hands on that… Ugh, god this hurts.“[/b][/color]  He opened his eyes slowly to look at the wait staff, and then shut his eyes again. [color=0099AF][b]”I just hope whatever this is doesn’t... Turn me into a monster. I’ve read stories, and lore about beings made of shadow. I’m not like them, I refuse to be like them… I am Mercury, I have a name… I have a personality, I’m not empty. Not an empty puppet to be used by some evil wizard.“[/b][/color] He then laughed softly as the pain subsided again, and he relaxed lowering his hand back to his side.
