She stayed there patiently, her hand reaching across the table, waiting for him to open his eyes again. [color=99ccff]"I mean, if you are going through puberty, could just be growing pains, right?"[/color] 

Glancing around, the waiter brought over the cheesecake and the gelato. Eddie pushed the desserts towards him, knowing that he loved sweets, and hoping that they'd help to bring some sort of stall to his pain. If even sweets couldn't help him, then she suspected nothing could.
