Nikki looked out at the sky as she lay in the bed of the truck. She didn't know what was taking Eric so long. She lay there looking at the stars and smiled to herself. She could almost forget about the rest of the world and the unrest with the dead. Then she heard it. The walkers were coming out of the woods on the other side of the field. She closed her eyes and the odd noises they make got louder as they got closer to the truck. She gave up and put her boots and jacket on and put the sleeping bags away. Climbing back through the window she said. 

[color=f49ac2]"Well the living would be preferable to the undead. Let's head back to the school."[/color]

Once they were back inside the gates she pulled the walkie out and told James that they needed some help with the generator. She jumped down and went inside with her bags that she had gotten from the apartment. She was sure Eric would follow her shortly as James and Zach came out to unload the generator and take it to maintenance.

Nikki went into her room. She started to unpack her stuff and Matt popped his head in the doorway waving a white t shirt as a flag. [color=00aeef]"Nik? I'm sorry I didn't think about what I was saying. I didn't mean it that way."[/color] She nodded. [color=f49ac2]"It's okay. I found something much worse on my own. Nolan was cheating on me."[/color] Matt asked,[color=00aeef] "are you sure?"[/color] Nikki nodded. [color=f49ac2]"Yeah, I found her in his apartment stumbling around in lingerie. I couldn't excuse that as something else." [/color]She paused and said, [color=f49ac2]"At least now I can move on without guilt." [/color]

Matt hugged her.[color=00aeef] "I'm sorry sis."[/color] She nodded and hung her clothes that she could in the closet.  [color=f49ac2]"I'm just looking at all of this as my new life. It's too hard to look back at all that we have lost so please don't bring up Nolan again."[/color] He nodded. [color=00aeef]"Fair enough. Night."[/color] Nikki nodded as he left her to finish.
