He blushed, and Eddie chuckled a bit, amused at his embarrassment. He really was going through all of the stages of development, and as far as she was aware, he had reached high school movie boyfriend. Instantly in love; instantly and constantly starving. 

Of course, it forced Eddie to ask a question of herself. Did she love Mercury? Was this infatuation and attraction already at this level? She didn't know if she felt the same way, but she knew that potentially, she could love him just as much as he loved her. It would just take time.
