No extra "gender" exists outside of L, G, and B. Anything else afterwards either simply seems to be a regular preference being tried to be given special status, or a ridiculous (and often half-assed) attempt at being a special snowflake.
False. First of all, L G and B represent sexualities (namely lesbian, gay, bisexual) and not genders, so you already sounded stupid right off the bat. While I agree that all genders that aren't normative are there for attempts at being special snowflakes, there are only 2 genders. Science agrees with me -- the definition of a gender is:
The state of being male or female (typically used with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones):
So as you can read here gender essentially boils down to stereotypical behavior often associated with one of the two sexes. That means that gender is limited to two options (and not three like you said). However sex and gender do not correlate specifically -- yes if you are male you have a high chance (99.9%, yes I pulled that % out of my ass, but it's a very large chance) that you are actually going to be male gender. Because of testosterone and such. Same with women and hormones. However there are people who are male in sex and female in behavior or, otherwise, often act more feminine than masculine. These people are transgender. However 'transgender' is not a specific gender so you are female sex wise, male gender wise, in 1 person. There is no room for different genders, you can't be a-gender, gender-fluid, or anything like that. Scientifically/sociologically/biologically impossible. Your gender is just the average of behavior, measured over a set of stereotypes that are biologically/scientifically founded. You're male or female. No other genders exist. And LGB(T) is not a gender. Sorry. And that's not even beginning to touch on the social and cultural influences on gender.
A majority of the "opinions" in this thread are merely fabricated, and do not really match with the poster's actual viewpoints. Unless, of course, making people rage with your own two counterfeit cents was the point.
