[*] I'm cool with any mature theme (except for the one mentioned above) and have no triggers myself. However, if you do, let me know. [*] Casual to advanced rp-skills. I tend to write 1-3 paragraphs myself, but I try to match what I receive. I don't have a required post-length or minimum amount of paragraphs, but I would like at least 1 decent paragraph. With less it's harder to get depth in the rp. Also, my native language is Dutch, not English, still I try to have my grammar as correct as I can. I expect the same of you. [*] Expect weekly replies, give or take. I log in to the site every day in the hopes of rp-ing, but there are days I just don't manage to get anything done in that aspect. From there it spread. The eggs can find their way into the ground and water through excrements, and when the host is consumed the predator will be infected. The parasite causes a fever and lethargy at first, as the body tries to fight off the intruder. When it reaches the brain, the infected becomes primal: food and mating are the two main concerns, and there is a higher level of aggression. At first doctors tried to treat the patients and find a cure, but every day more and more humans get infected. This is where the RP starts. People are either bunkering down in their homes or fleeing the cities to get to safe camps people keep talking about. [b]My character[/b]: Male doctor (age range 30-40) [b]Lost in the demon's realm[/b] - horror / supernatural / survival [b]Background[/b]: The demon's realm is a hellish place with a rocky underground, a sky filled with red clouds full of lightning, and fire pits. The higher and lesser demons live here, the higher demons in mansions and castles, the lower demons in caves. Hellhounds run in packs and are always hungry. The demons often have human pets they took from the human realm. If they grow tired of them, they feed them to the lower demons or torture them to death. [b]Plot[/b]: My character (male, early twenties) escaped from the demon that had captured him, but he's still trapped in the demons's realm. Will he escape or be recaptured by a demon? Your character can be another human (still a pet, escaped, or exiled from their master's home to die outside) or a demon. [b]Magical Mysteries[/b] - Magic / adventure / set in the Harry Potter fandom [b]Plot[/b]: Horses, including the magical horses, are dying and Porlocks are blamed. My character (Magizoologist, adult male) specialised in them and will investigate the matter in an attempt to clear their name. My character sometimes works for the Ministery of Magic as an external expert, but doesn't get along with them. In this case the Ministery of Magic is close to declaring the Polocks as dangerous, which he wants to prevent. Your character can be anyone you like that fits in this setting/plot. The soldier/mercenary character is prejudiced against creatures that look human but aren't, so that can result in interesting pairings. (If interested in adding elemental magic, I have a system worked out that I can share) [b]Foster Care[/b] - Slice of Life / Drama / Modern Day [i]Doctor[/i] (M) & Troubled Teen (M or F) Your character is a teen who needs to be placed in a foster family and ends up living with my character. We can discuss the details. Because of the plot in this RP there will be no romantic development between our characters. If it's romance you crave, I can throw in a nephew as side character. [b]The Insane Asylum[/b] - Slice of Life / Modern Day / Paranormal / Dark / Romance [i]Patient[/i] (M) X Nurse (M or F) or [i]Patient[/i] (M) X Patient (M or F) In both cases we live in a world where the paranormal does exist, but people don't believe in it. People who claim to have paranormal abilities are put in an insane asylum. There they will be 'treated' for their 'delusions'. Due to the nature of the RP, paranormal abilities must be unprovable. My character can see ghosts, but everyone knows ghosts aren't real, so he is deemed delusional. Other possible abilities include, but are not limited to: seeing aura's, communicate with ghosts, understanding the language of an animal, out-of-body experiences, etc. Romance is optional. Details can be discussed. [i]I will also play the head psychiatrist, it would be nice if you could double as the warden[/i] [b]The road to the Demon's Realm[/b] - Fantasy / Medieval / Romance [i]Bard[/i] (M) & Travel Companion (M or F) or [i]Mercenary/Former Knight[/i] (M) X Travel Companion (M or F) Your character has to go to the demon's realm and needs help. You come across my character who will aid your character in the quest. The Travel Companion can be royal or a regular citizen or a wizard or a demon or whatever you want really. Romance is optional. Details can be discussed. [b]Paranormal Investigations[/b] - Supernatural / Horror / Adventure [i]Male with paranormal ability + male with paranormal ability + regular male[/i] X your character(s). We have been recruited by the Paranormal Investigations, a government agency (sometimes abbreviated as Pa-In) We fight against the evils that threaten humanity: imps, vampires, demons, humans with dangerous abilities. But are we really on the right side? [i]I will also play the boss of the agency[/i] [b]The plane crash[/b] - Drama / Slice of Life / Adventure [i]Male doctor[/i] X your character. Option for multiple characters. We were on a plane together, but it crashed. Now we're stranded on an island, but what dangers lurk at night? [i]the dangers of the island are open to discussion[/i] [b]A ghostly affair[/b] - Romance / Ghost story [i]Male character[/i] X female ghost Ghost don't exist, everyone knows that. Ghosts are invisible to most, but some can perceive them. Mediums can sense their presence, some people can hear ghostly whispers when they visit a haunted place. Others can see them. My character has always been able to see ghosts. One day he sees the spirit of a girl... [b]Meet the band[/b] - Romance / Slice of Life / Drama [i]Three male bandmembers[/i] X assistant (F or M) & manager A popular boy band need to get a new assistant. As for the manager, there will be no romance options for this character. The manager can be either good and keep the best interest of the band members at heart, but in this scenario the manager will be teased by the band members (in good nature of course). The manager can also be greedy and only like the band for the money they make, making the lives of the band members hard. [b]Howling at Hogwarts[/b] - Adventure / Magic Your character is a fifth-year student at Hogwarts (pre-, during, or post-canon) taking Care of Magical Creatures and/or Ethics. My character is the Ethics teacher who also works as a Magizoologist and does research at Hogwarts. There will be a (currently undecided) mystery that needs to be solved. [b]The human pet[/b] - Supernatural / horror / dark Demon X [i]Male Human[/i] A human spellcaster ends up as the possession of a demon when a job to send this demon back to its own realm goes wrong and his partner, the fighter, is unable to protect him. [b]Mars Expedition[/b] - sci-fi / horror / survival [i]Male human (doctor)[/i] X your character In the near future humans have finally colonised Mars for the first time. After the first rocket base has been establishes, mining and research stations are build on the surface of the planet, each with an internal life support system. It isn't long humans discover there is life on Mars after all, and it was hiding deep below the surface all this time.
