Not really that, as I expect Kaede and Kaede are bound to run into people that hate them with a passion and maybe they have to settle matters because say... oh, they kidnap the princess or hurt someone in the group dear to them just for example.

Spider demons, we could easily be wandering through a dark forest and run into their nest. x]

Edit: I guess in a way they could be considered loyalty missions, but it's not really a test to see where Mizuki's loyalty lies as we know she is a very loving and protecting person so she will always try to save her friends.
