[@Maxwell]Honestly my friend, I wouldn't be too hasty on that. Just put it in the back of your mind and don't worry about it for a bit. I think things are about to pick up, but I still have a feeling it's going to be slow going for awhile and we're to meet your character later anyway. So, imo, I'd say just let us know when your 'grace' period is done with. I wouldn't leave the game. 
It's your choice however.
