Rowan looked up at them with a piece of dried meat between his lips. A giant snake? He had heard something like what before, but he had thought they were just legends or stories to keep children from wandering into the woods. These men were not children; they were tall and muscular men who could break a chair with their bare hands. That didn't mean Rowan believed what these men were saying. He finished the last piece of meat and chugged down the broth that tasted like dirt before getting up. "You fellows are sure you saw this.. giant snake? Or serpent?" Rowan walked to them, a little too calm for the panic that was coming from the people in the Inn. "You do know that drinking while chopping up lumber is not a good thing." Although Rowan didn't believe them, he was still willing to go out and search for this "giant snake." He was an excellent hunter and tracker, and anything that moved through the ground was easy to track down. "If you are certain you saw this thing I want you to take me to the camp." He always did enjoy discovering new things that nature had to offer. He wasn't planning on killing the massive snake; it wouldn't be fair. It was probably just guarding its territory. Maybe scare it away from the town.
