Well even if they aren't considered an abomination, mostly because they probably feel they can be controlled and reasoned with[the sentient ones anyway], I imagine most people are 'highly' wary about such undead. In any event, having an undead in court that is not like a royal bodyguard or something, will certainly rub a lot of nobles the wrong way. Its one thing to have an undead being used for a specific purpose [and usually mindless] but when they're kinda allowed to their own devices, people are gonna wonder and get paranoid, even if she is the most 'senior' knight in the whole order. Well its just one 'weapon' the change faction will no doubt use to their advantage when the time comes. In political warfare its often a lot of little things piled up that build the argument one way or another.
