I was going to initiate it myself, but my characters come in on the latter parts.

Because this promises to be really big, what I suggest is doing it in chapters. Start with a few players starting things off. When another player enters the field, post what's been put up already and then continue the collab. That should make for -- what? -- three or four parts? I think it'll help reduce post droughts.
