That would be correct, [@Tearstone] ;) Imagine what happens if it is not the writer that decides the course of the story, but the main characters and their own silly, if even random decisions. That said, although the last session ended with the party blowing up their own rowboat with an accidental fireball(while on the river AND while still in it), they have been reasonably successful as of late. The level of "Heroic action" typically boils down to the decisions of the players, and their luck with the dice. Poor decisions coupled with bad rolls can make for more comedy rather than epic heroics, after all! As for the theme of the RP, it actually can change quite a bit depending on where the party might choose to venture. A trip into the cursed kingdom of Tristan for instance might introduce some dark fantasy, whereas a journey into the independant farming republic of Erenia might feature a more happier setting(as long as nothing really bad happens!). We mostly use voice chat. Ideally, we'd use video, however we ran into a lot of problems/connection issues when we last tried, so for now we only use voice. (both our voice and video is done on Skype) As for myself, I can't say I'm that familiar with the pro/mentor grade status on Roll20, as I am for the most part a surface user. You should tell me something about it. (Sorry about the late reply. I've not been on much lately, and I almost forgot this thread existed after 18 days)
