Gallus blinked and his jaw visibly clenched once more. "What was that?" he said after a second, turning his ear slightly towards Peiter. "I don't care? Well..." Gallus started looking around and jittered in place as he silently tapped his toe against the floor of his boot. His eyes widened as he spoke. "That's a surprising thing to hear, um..." Gallus sniffed. With all that had been displayed, he seemed like he was holding back. He stilled himself and looked to Peiter directly, raised brow and all. "What makes you say that, my boy?" Uthri tried to chime in, "Gallus, he doesn't mean-" "-No." Gallus raised his palm to silence Uthri without taking his eyes off Peiter's face. "I want to hear what he has to say for himself."
