@BurningCold you are absolutely correct but as there are many positions to fill within a single radio tower being a person of many hats isn't necessarily a negative thing story wise. Also who's the first person you see when you walk into a station? The receptionist. If he/she just happens to be the person in charge of public relations then you know they have communication skills and as a bonus being on the forefront of the station there's never a chance for a missed opportunity to build strong public/business relationships. Now 2 questions that I have in return are: 1. Why have people not applied for more behind the scenes jobs (for the love of God will the bathrooms stay clean?) 2. Does our station have any veterans? We all see pretty young. The average radio veteran would be like early 30s. Just curious. I woulda chose DJ myself as it's a path I'm currently pursuing in real life, but why be me when I can be you?
