[color=#9900cc] [h3][center]Mara Scelus[/center][/h3][/color]
If there was anything to snap Mara out of her guilty feelings, it was seeing something highly unusual. She frowned, looking at all of the taillows pointing in one uniform direction. Biting her lip, she shifting from side to side, changing her stance as she went through the numerous possibilities. 

[color=9900cc]"Well, Rowan went looking for a taillow, perhaps they're just showing me the way,"[/color] Mara pondered, tapping her finger against her chin. 

Of course, she could always just ignore it--but that wasn't the Mara Scelus way! She devoured knowledge the ways other kids devoured food--in giant fist fulls, all at once. To turn around and ignore this mysteriousness would be as against her nature as a magikarp knowing moves beyond splash. 

[color=9900cc]"It can't be more dangerous than the Yellow Hand,"[/color] Mara reasoned. Continuing to clutch the backpack, she made her way forward, following the helpful direction of the taillow. However, she paused, realizing her foolishness. 

She had forgotten to thank them.

[color=9900cc]"Thank you,"[/color] Mara murmured politely, before continuing onward. She had no idea where she was going, but she was certain that there had to be [i]something[/i] in that direction. Perhaps it was a legendary pokemon. Perhaps it was some new breed of taillow. Perhaps it was Cass. Perhaps it was the merchant. 

Oh, and of course, she was keeping an eye out for Rowan as well. 

Trudging onward, Mara followed the taillows' guidance, her eyes peeled for anything interesting. She had forgotten, for a moment, Yasha and his wounds back by the river. She had forgotten the urgency of finding Rowan. She had forgotten her guilt, her feelings of self doubt and hopelessness. 

Nothing else mattered anymore.
