[@Kal-El]: Okay, um... I'll be honest and say I think he's a bit overpowered. He has too many abilities, stacking them on an already-powerful sword seems a bit much if he's that skilled as well. I'll also ask for original names for anything you come up with, as real-life mythology stuff doesn't really fit the setting.

I'll also be honest and say that deliberately blinding children to make special magic knights seems a bit unlikely. If you do want to keep him blind there's a lot of potential explanations for it.
