Realism is totally what we need when the sword is absolutely enormous and the rest of the bio is 'magic swordsman'.

And... aside from the two people with average hand-to-hand ability, nobody in the roleplay has much in the way of ranged presence. "He can only melee" does not justify "more powerful than any other character" when [i]that limitation applies to almost everyone.[/i]
