So that was probably a factor in [@Zarkun] choosing chainmail. Also Cody still has a largish sum of jewels from his foster parents before their death (he was in a rich family you know) and taking odd jobs, so price isn't a huge factor (as long as it doesn't cost like a 1,000,000,000 jewels or something stupid XD).
