That was it, after seeing the cruelty Ally had enough. She raced to the crowd, pushing passed the spectators and stood in front of the bully. "Hey, stop that!" she said. "If he's such a 'weakling' or whatever, why waste your time on him?" She knew these words wouldn't help the boy's confidence or self-esteem in the end, but if it could stop the pain it was worth it. Throughout her life she too knew what it was like to be picked on and bullied, but never anything as bad as this. Her body tensed slightly as she was ready to fight, though she didn't show it.
