"That's why I got in the fight in the first place, actually." He chuckled slightly, as he felt his bruised cheek. He brought his hand from his face, as he looked at the blood on his fingertips. "They said that karate was for the strong, and so the only way I could join them was if I proved that I was." His eyes met the girls, as he tried his hardest to fight the tears that wanted to come out. "I just wanted to show them, prove to myself even, that I was strong, both in mind and body." His eyes went back to the ground, as a single tear slipped away, falling down to the concrete below. "But when push came to shove, all I could do was say it. I couldn't show them a darn thing." He brought on a fake smile, as he looked back up at her. "You, though! You're brave, you know that?" He laughed, however, he was quite serious. "Not just anyone would do what you did back there. Most people would have just kept walking."
