Awesome. Out of curiosity, what time is it on the island? Kind of important in relation to how many of John's friends and relations are going to show up to the wedding... That and I'm fairly certain that any devote priest is going to take one look at John standing in the groom's position and just go 'Nope' and throw holy water at him.
