[@Ojo chan 42] O.o  I am not completely clear on how Clyde missed the fact that Eleanor was seeing a kelpie -- surely Clyde or his sister would have noticed some hint?  Laira's kelpie father leaving because of guilt is an interesting twist, but if the child was already conceived wouldn't that make her merely a seasonborn, instead of a full kelpie (conceived as a half-blood, thus a seasonborn, and then magic turned her mother into a seasonborn, but I don't know if it'd change the child)?  Not sure how that works, maybe [@LadyRunic] can tell me.  Additionally, I thought changing a human to a seasonborn took a good bit of time -- and it's done in groups, as well.  I'm not sure how well the timing fits there, though it is a neat solution to the problem of Clyde needing to overlook certain things.
