Tris sighed loudly as she pushed herself down a ramp out of the car she had taken to this school of misfit toys, she had to be taken by a car and not a bus like the others because her wheelchair would not fit in it, that lowered her self confidence even lower than it normally was but she tried to not let it get to her. She could control fire but not her own legs, it was kind of sad in her opinion. She was sure there were probably a lot of other people here who could control elements better than her and they got to use their legs. She wished when she became a 'mutant' her genes would have decided to fix her legs in the process, would have made her life a whole lot easier. Looking down at her useless legs she rolled herself forward using her strong arms to will her through everything in front of her. She noticed a few others in front of the school, some laughing and messing around, others nervous. She noticed a Harley as well which stood out from everything else, she had always liked bikes like that and wished to ride one- but alas it was a dream that would never come true because unless she rode in one of those lame sidecars it would be impossible. She had a multiple of things that she had taken with her but she only carried her backpack which was laid on her lap, the Hylian shield carrying her laptop and several other items like her Ipod and inhaler. Biting on her lips in nervousness she wheeled forward in through the door, thanking all that was and wasn't holy that they had ramps here. She had her hoodie pulled up and she guessed she must look pretty immature in it, the dragon spikes going up and down her spine, honestly she couldn't care, the hoodie made her feel more confident, dragons were never shy or scared, she shouldn't be either. They had told her to go to the front office for her schedule instead of where everyone obviously because she was in a wheelchair she had to have special treatment for everything she did. --- After she got her schedule she rolled herself outside, not wanting to go anywhere with too many people, she liked her schedule well enough, it was easy to remember and all her classes were on the first floor so she wouldn't have to push herself up any ramps, she guessed they had done that intentionally when assigning her classes. She rolled to a oak tree that was on the school grounds, no one else was there so it seemed the good place to chill out, even though she was an extrovert and liked being around people, sometimes it was scary for her, not scary so much as people themselves were scary, scary as in she didn't know what to say around people and that scared her. So usually she just avoided people unless they approached her first. Brushing back her undercut side hair she took a deep breath and pulled out her laptop, glad to get a wifi signal out here. She started fixing up a beat she had started making before she left and had been unable to finish, keeping the volume low so not many others could hear. Music always clammed her nerves.
