The Slethebi have been noted to be one of the most visually pleasing races in an artistic sense, as long as you glaze over the sheer heat of their silicate bodies and their disturbing assimilative nature. Their long, slender frames are protected by thick chitin, which is somewhat transparent, with coloring ranging from 'deep-space blue' to 'ocean cyan'. They have a total of twelve thin legs supporting their bodies, which are divided perfectly into six segments, with eight eyes that glow in the dark. Due to their advanced technologies, generally unnatural environmental tolerances, and simply gorgeous design, it's believed they're ultimately descended from an earlier race which died out. Theories abound, but most scholars believe that they are the children of genetically engineered specimens of that race which suffered from an interstellar scale apocalypse and have recovered. It is believed their 'homeworld' is simply the sole survivor of that event, and some members of the Intergalactic Council are toying with the idea of taxing them as the 'Super-Advanced-Species' they may technically be. [hr] (Discussion) Alright, I contacted a mod and they basically said "Yeah whatever, it fits fine, not worth the effort to move it". Anyway, yeah, if you want to discuss anything about the thread, put it wherever but just note it's a 'discussion' thing. [hr] The mysterious 'Xyenal Haluk' (In Common: "Border-Guarders"), were named as such by one of the Intergalactic Council Investigators sent to make contact with them. The Xyenal Haluk appear to be robotic sentiences that control a few planetoid scale mega-constructions across Council-Space, and are viciously protective of a seemingly random group of galaxies. While it's unknown who built them, the Xyenal Haluk's mobile mega-constructions have some of the most advanced jump drives in the known universe, easily being able to jump from one galaxy to the next in mere months, all to investigate reports of their 'Nemesis'. The Xyenal Haluk's mighty 'Guard-Planets' are the strongest individual warships in all of known space, and appear to be constantly fighting some unknown 'Menace' the A.I. controlling them constantly refer to. Few details are known of the 'Menace', but it's obvious the war against them was, and is, extremely important for whoever built the Xyenal Haluk, as the weapons used by the Xyenal Haluk were banned several million years ago for sheer destructive potential by the Council.
