Good morning thank you for calling Goldenrod radio tower, Denni Haderleigh speaking how may I be of assistance? No that's way too long Denni muttered to herself as she got ready for the morning. It was still earlier than the sun itself, she had never been used to getting ready before the sun but then again this was also her first day working and her first time ever opening up a radio station a day for firsts she thought to herself. Today Denni could not wear her crop tops or her shorts today was a day to make an impression, she put on a Shuppet Blue skirt with a matching blazer jacket, sleeves rolled up to come across somewhat stylish, a deep purple blouse and the perfect height of high heels. She had been pinching pennies ever since she found out she got the job just to look great on her first day. Having no idea what she was going to wear tomorrow she called upon her Haunter Hal and they headed out set right for the day. Goldenrod radio tower my name is Denni how may I be of assistance? Damn it still to long. Denni was really stuck on the details of pretty much everything. She needed this job if not for her sake for Hal's. Denni had never been much for Pokemon except for Hal, her incorporeal friend was someone she knew she could always rely on, like now while stressing about how to say hi over the phone Hal was stretching his face in many a different way in effort to entertain himself and Denni, she noticed and it made her smile inside but she kept a stern face if only to make the Haunter try harder. A quick stop to the Pokemart for a water and then Denni was at the tower. Thinking she was going to arrive early she was left dumbfounded to find the lobby, her work space filled to the brim with people. She was not late that was for sure. Right before she began panicking Haunter licked her left hand. It went numb, but it was a tactic that the duo had built together if things weren't in order he'd give her a small lick and then she would have to concentrate on regaining feeling. It worked, it always did. As Denni began to regain feeling and control in the tips of her digits she looked up to the sound of a ding and noticed everyone was gone. Great first impression Miss head of public relations. She was mad but she knew she could relax now. She sat down at her desk still looking for the perfect wording for her telephone greeting. She booted up her PC to a very bland desktop. That'll need some changing she said aloud. She picked up a quiet telephone once more in practice. Goldenrod tower Denni speaking how may I help you? There was no dial tone no nothing. She looked at the time on the PC and noticed there were only 10 minutes until the station was officially open and the first show would be underway. No time to send an email to tech support she figured she had a good lay of the building she could probably power walk to the tech office and have a resolution in 9 minutes and be ready faster than a Jolteon. She started marching into the hallways first a left, then a right one more right and she'd be where she needed to be. She stopped herself quickly at the sight of a girl more than likely the same age as her with red hair and her Umbreon carrying enough cable to wire the entire building. Noticing the unmistakable look of being lost on her face Denni stopped and thought to herself A good receptionist should help a person in need. She walked up to the girl and with the most sincere smile said Hi there, is there anything I can do to help? she was sure that she had just presented herself in a polite professional manner. Now if only she could be that sure of Hal. [@Arty Fox]
