Lyre is a very bubbly and outgoing girl. She always tries her best to look on the bright side, but even she has her bad days. She has to be reminded on those days to be as bright as the sun when the clouds cross the sky. She does come back eventually, but it can be harder than other times depending on what pulled the clouds overhead. 
She is also a determined girl. When she sets her mind on something, she will do everything she can to make sure she gets it done. Sometimes she becomes too focused, leading to nights where she tires herself out and passes out. She is known to be too dedicated and will forget to do essentials things like sleep and eat. 
She is quite intelligent, but manages to come across as coincided and overly confident. She's managed to pull facts out of tin air and be fairly close to what was the truthful fact. She also tends to think of other as lower than her.
She can be overly confident, and can get upset if she fails. She is very ambitious and can be full of herself. Sometimes she can be hotheaded. When she gets to that point, it's better to stay back for fear of what she'll do.

Lyre was born to Aria Costela on July 23rd. Her mother was a popular classical musician who decided to name her daughter after the instrument Lyre in honor of her father, Apollo. She grew up in the city, trying to be a musician like her parents, learning guitar,piano,  and many other instruments. By the time she was 10, she had become a talented girl determined to perform onstage, until her recital was interrupted by a monster. She managed to find her way to Camp Half Blood after that incident with hints and a little help from Apollo, not wanting to bring any harm to her mother or her friends. She's spent most of her time at camp for the past 7 years, and treats it as if it's her own home.
