The flower petals, leaves and fronds that adorn her head emulate that a short bob. Despite being a distant traveller, all the plant life that makes up her is distinctly earthly. Her piercing ruby eyes do not look, or gaze, but survey the surroundings, judging intently. Narrow shoulders but wide hips suggest a level of fertility far beyond that of Earthlings. Instead of looking gangly or weak, Imbricata's long slender arms appear elegant. Naturally, her legs too are elegant, but also toned and shapely. Her posture is stellar, giving her perfect regal poise. Imbricata dresses in a long dark green sleeveless gown, adorned with local flora. Primarily red flowers grow in it, accented with yellow and orange, which blend the shifting colour down the dress. Finally, Imbricata wears no shoes, and feet are cushioned by the growth that follows in her wake. BRIEF Bio: A cutting of the amorphous plant god Eith'Og-Darhg, Imbricata Opuntia crash landed on Earth roughly 3 years ago. The event that was far more traumatic that she'd envisioned, losing more than 99.9% of her biomass on entry and what did make it to the ground was hardly fit for immediate use. All was not lost though, the dense woodland she found herself in suggested the soil was rich enough to begin healing. Her roots sunk in, analysing and absorbing the nutrients while building new synergies with the primitive life forms that shared this space. It would not be enough to mend what was lost, a feeler needed sent off to find more fertile land and to integrate with new life. It was scary to leave so much of herself behind to continue growing but it was a necessary act, the charred growth would only slow her down. Imbricata shook herself free, equipped with only with what was truly necessary and her precious cargo. She took off a writhing tentacular horror, whipping wildly through the trees as she scouted the terrian. Unbeknownst to her, her flight path had not gone unseen. Scientists had been watching for months as her impact trajectory became more and more certain.Military had been dispatched immediately to the location once the landing had been confirmed by locals and the attention of the media was drawn, who were already speculating whether the outsider was friend or foe. It wasn't long until they found her whisking round the perimeter, attempting to get a feel for her surroundings. Imbricata froze mid squirm. They were terrifying. Mobile Non-plants with inorganic limb extensions, they emitted light and noise too. Aggressively stimulated by even small movements. Intelligence. Maybe they can help me. In return for her freedom, Imbricata has been working as a botanist at STRIKE for their Advanced Astroculture division. In addition, attempts have been made to train her as agent however it has been a difficult endeavour, with her only being made ready for field work recently. Storylines:
Learning to be truly human Coming to terms with never being able to return home Coming to terms with the possibility of home planet not existing anymore Imbricata's "ship" mends the hydroponics laboratory sufficiently for use, the alien seeds can now be grown Actually hideous plant monster hellbent on conquering Earth and making it her new space vessel kingdom. Who can stop her? Using her alien plant/plant knowledge to assist human endeavours, Imbricata angers multinational food/medicine corporations, could this illegal alien residency in the US be in jeopardy? Eith'Og-Dahrg's reputation for planetary consumption is well documented across the cosmos, who knows who might seek that bounty of a cutting? The Old Gods hide in crevices all over the unknown universe, if Imbricata can't bring herself to HIM, maybe she can find someone who knows how to bring HIM to her.
