[@jakeb1993] Actually I would suggest moving to Boeing instead of another military base. The other two bases in Ga is a Marine one that is supply mostly in Albany. Or an Army Base in Columbus. Boeing is near Dobbins, has better security, works with Dobbins in development and uses their test pilots. So you would be better off with his background and such - plus him not being military, as a sub contractor civilian that works for Boeing. 

Another thing he has no scavenging or survival skills. No knowledge of water purification or the like. Might want to throw one or two of those in there as post skills that he would have learned, otherwise from what is listed I am not seeing just how he would have maintained enough food or water to survive three years. Also he has no food or water on his person. O.o And Newnan is south west of Dobbins/Boeing.
