Jeremy woke up in a cold sweat, his hand immediately going to his heart, which felt as if it was beating out of his chest. Once again, he had passed out on the couch. He had no idea what time it was... It had been another nightmare. They were becoming more frequent. His abilities could warp the minds of others, but his own dreams were at the mercy of destiny. He sat up, still fully dressed in suit and tie. He took some steps towards the bathroom and examined himself. He seemed presentable. He wiped the sweat from his brow and made an effort to groom himself. Good enough, he thought. Jeremy exited the house and looked around him. He felt a dull pain in the back of his head. This was odd, as despite his dreams his mind has been more invigorated than ever. Until now, his headaches and migraines had vanished. "Could it be a sign?" He pondered his own question. As he started walking, he noticed the pain becoming sharp, more clear. Whatever was causing it, he would find out soon enough.
