[b][color=MAGENTA]Life Before The Apocalypse[/color][/b] 
Lilith was born in Carson City, surrounded by the desert. She grew up around drugs, whorehouses, and high school boys who took the virginity of twelve year olds. It was from the time she was ten that she knew she wanted to leave. She made a plan with her parents, saved birthday money. The whole nine yards, just because she believed getting out would be the best idea of her life. 

Of course, the town dragged her down, as it did many people. She got into fights to protect herself from bullies, drank the liquor her ‘friends' gave her. She was still the top of her class, but her grades were gradually starting to change. She can't remember what stopped her from going over the edge and becoming another druggie. Maybe it was the power of music, or something equally strange. Maybe one day she just snapped, or maybe it was the ramblings of her friend's dealer. The important part is, she picked herself back up. She went through high school with a purpose, graduated the top of her class, and got a scholarship for Chemistry, which would lead her to her life in Forensic Science.

Her college life was amazing. She was broke, using most of her yearly scholarship funds for books and the remnants for extra food. She had bags under her eyes that have never fully faded, and she loved every moment of it. She never partied, hardly leaving her dorm room, she was a spoil sport: reporting parties and leaving just to unplug whatever music was playing. People hated her and her roommate gave her hell, but it was worth it. After she got her Master’s degree in Forensic Science, she almost immediately got a job in a New York department that was overworked and well paid.

Things were shifting in the department, with everyone getting anxious at all the recent cases. Of course, Lilith didn't approve of the deaths they had to look into, but work was work. That was why she willingly volunteered for a transfer when it came, the district promised to pay her well and after a year she could come back to her department. She was given away to the small town of Altsoba, Washington. Of course, she had no idea that she would be ending up in the town that began the apocalypse.
