[@FantasyChic] I'm more of a Marvel guy myself, but if you don't know any of the names, there's always use of the Wiki. I don't read comics from any of the verses, but I've done quite a bit of online research (the amount of stuff on the internet that nerds put out is fucking amazing and helps me nerd out myself). Mostly, I just know shit about Batman and the Batfam. Most of the deal with Superman stuff that doesn't deal with Conner, Kara, or Clark I'm usually lost on. I grew up with the Teen Titans, though, so I'm at least familiar with Dick and all of them. Regardless, if I do get confused by what's going on, I try my best to figure them out and if not, simply ask questions. There's always a stigma before heading into one of these things concerning people more knowledgeable in the fan base, but usually if you ask nicely enough, they'll either tell you out right or point you in the right direction. Most of the time, with Comics being so incredibly twisted with all its timelines and verses, it's simpler to just point a person in the direction they can get the information. 'Cause no one wants to sit here and write a dissertation on a certain Arc in a comic, cause it'll just lead to explaining tie ins and other information you get from reading other issues or other comics entirely. But, yeah, if you get confused about the names and the places, all you gotta do is Google it. You'll get plenty of information and it doesn't hurt to look for comics online too - though, I've yet to find time to read any that haven't been a few issues of Extraordinary X-Men.
