He removed a large duffle bag with all his equipment save for his bow from the trunk; his bow itself had never left his side as Jean-Luc was still a little uneasy about all this and feared it might have been a hoax. Nevertheless, once his belongings were in hand, he gave the driver his pay plus a good tip and headed up to the large stairs in front. Ascending the stairs Jean-Luc couldn’t help but admire the architecture of the building. Though his family had probably paid for them to have such a large flashy building, its beauty and pristine condition was enough to let him know it was appreciated. At the top of the steps Jean-Luc stopped just shy of the glass doors. This was it, once he walked through those doors his life as a mercenary would be over. He would no longer be his own boss, live by his own rules, he would forever become a part of this group. But it was all for the greater good, and he was ready to start using his abilities to help to world. Taking a deep breath, he entered the building and quickly located and made his way to the front desk. ”Excuse me.” he spoke to the woman sitting there, ”Could you tell me where the Sentinel’s are meeting? She happily gave him the floor number and also informed him he could leave his things there so that they could be delivered to his new quarters. Thanking her and setting his belongings aside he moved into the elevator and pressed the appropriate floor. The elevators were much faster than anticipated and in no time doors opened to reveal a large room with circular table in the center. Sitting at the table currently was an aged robotic figure and a woman who clearly wasn’t aware Halloween had ended. Strange characters indeed, but the organization had a history of employing rather flamboyant figures long as they got the job done. With a brisk pace Jean-Luc walked out of the elevator and took a seat an equal distance away from the other two. Once seated he exchanged glances with them for a brief moment before speaking, ”So. When do the others arrive?”
