The last remnants of his creation crumbling to the ground after the Gorilla Marine's spinning attack. He felt a twinge of pain, longing maybe. It hurt to watch ones creation destroyed after working so hard to make it. Soon, Drum Island became a distant shadow as the ship slowed to a crawl, the convicts stream of fire dieing out. It seemed that the crew had gained two new members. In truth, Fadel had no idea why they decided to kill hundreds for two, it made little sense to him. For once since he had joined the crew, he began to doubt his captains ability to lead. It pained him, but killing so many to break out death row inmates had to have had some meaning. He planned to ask Bogard, but this didn't seem to be a good time. With a sigh, Fadel walked over to a fallen Rayne. He recognized this man from somewhere, but he couldn't put his finger on it. With a shrug his carefully picked him up and carried the man over to Bogard, laying them side by side. Doctor Fadel took over, no longer high on his own adrenaline. With a flick of his wrist vines grew around Rayne's ankles and wrists, holding him down. His injuries were severe, so much so that Fadel was afraid he might fail to save the young mans life, but he was Doctor, and he was trained, he vowed, to save his patients lives. With that in mind, Fadel went to work. He would have rather done this in the privacy of his own room, but it seemed that Rayne was in critical condition. A blood stain on his white dress shirt led him to find a puncture wound near his heart. Thankfully, it wasn't deep enough to affect any organs. Gritting his teeth, Fadel summoned vines that stretched into his room and grabbed a plethora of tools. One happened to be a pot. Reaching into the kitchen, two vines took a quickly grown Valerian root and boiled it. Taking the tea, the vines rushed back to Fadel. Tea in hand, he slipped it into Rayne's mouth, which he subconsciously drank. Instantly, he stabilized, falling into a deep sleep. Another vine grabbed disinfectant and rubbed it over the wound, no doubt a painful experience. Multi tasking, Fadel grew a small prickly pear cactus in which contained astringent and antiseptic qualities. Taking one of the pads, he quickly peeled it, ignoring the stabbing needles. Putting the raw flesh of the fruit over the wound would help it heal, especially since it was enhanced when grown by him. Another vine brought him needles and twine, in which he used to stitch up the wound. Wiping away any dried blood, Fadel felt drained, mentally and physically. His head hurt, especially for over use of his power, but he pushed himself to keep going. With Rayne finished, he turned to Bogard who was speaking with Dirk. He could have been a little bit less hard on the guy. A free vine quickly scribbled on the white board that he had left on the ship before. "You want me to look you over? it read as he placed it in front of the blonde, and everyone else on the ship except Dirk. Bogard roar of pain didn't look so good. Growing a Devil Claw, he handed it to his Captian, that would lessen the pain.
