Possessed of a large bust and overall very shapely hourglass figure, at a glance one would assume that the Jiyutai leader would be more in the world of “idols” or modeling than on the battlefield. Senhime also happens to be fairly tall, a trait that aids somewhat in increasing her air of authority. Her hair is a purple-silver color and hangs down to her waist most of the time, as she very rarely pulls it up. Her eyes match her hair, albeit with a slightly darker hue. In light of how striking everything else about Senhime is, one could be forgiven if they didn’t notice that Senhime possessed a decent amount of muscle tone. Senhime is most proud of the ebony horns protruding from the side of her head, a sign of the blood of the Osuushi clan In most times when people see her, Senhime can be seen wearing a long, sleeveless white garment with gold trim that has the insignia of the Jiyuna no Guntai emblazoned on the back. Underneath that she wears a form fitting black shirt, with a silver trim. Depending on her mood, she’ll either wear a pair of similarly form-fitting white short shorts paired with black thigh-highs and knee-high boots, or calf-length black pants with a pair of red geta clogs. For accessories, Senhime likes to wear butterfly-shaped hair clips/hair ties. In terms of standard equipment, the most notable thing she carries on her person is an ornate nodachi she’s named ‘Shurakumo’ (Carnage Spider)

❖ Height--
5’11.5”/1.81 meters

❖ Weight--
140Lbs/63.5kg

❖ Build--
Despite being known primarily for her womanly hourglass figure, Senhime also possesses a decent level of muscle tone gained from hard training and years of swinging a sword. Her back and abdominal muscles in particular are well-sculpted by themselves. Among the ranks of the Jiyutai, it’s commonly known that Senhime is actually quite a kind-hearted woman. When combined with her calm demeanor and physical beauty, this has led to a fair amount of Jiyutai freedom fighters idolizing her, or even outright falling for the horned commander. Her ability to remain calm under pressure is nearly unparalleled, and it is these steel nerves that impart greater confidence in Jiyutai rebels that share the battlefield with her. Those close to Senhime know that, beneath her demure nature is an incredibly passionate woman, a trait that often manifests in her speeches to the Jiyutai before major operations. While many younger members of the Jiyutai see Senhime as an older sister figure, many are made aware that the commander’s true sister is easily the most important to her. The older of the Osuushi sisters is incredibly protective of young Kuko, and even now she finds it difficult to stomach allowing her on the battlefield despite her ability to handle herself being more than proven. While the Jiyutai’s commander has the full trust of the rebels under her command, she still keeps a few things close to the vest, though whether or not that’s for the good of the Jiyutai, or her own reservations about trusting the heads of the groups united under the Jiyutai banner is debatable. Though Senhime is often considered to be a mature individual, she isn’t above bouts of mischief-making, though she tends to keep her shenanigans to a minimum, with the occasional prank to break up the gravity of leading a band of rebels. As expected of an older sister type, she has a tick of using the expression “Ara ara~”

❖ History--
Born into Kirigakure’s Osuushi clan, Senhime was raised to honor the Eight-Tailed Gyuki and its supposed “gifts” to the clan from a young age. By the time she was eight, she was already taking part in the maintenance of the clan’s shrine among other duties. And while young Senhime didn’t have a terribly strong opinion on Gyuki herself, she found working together with the clan to be a comfy, and one might dare say fun routine. By the time she was twelve, Senhime was a full-fledged shrine maiden of the August Eight-Tailed Gyuki. But that came secondary to the birth of Goro and Emi’s second child, named “Akumako”. While at first Senhime wasn’t quite sure what to think, baby Akumako quickly proved too cute to ignore, a fact that was known throughout the clan. As such, Senhime took a measure of pride in her baby sister, making a point of helping take care of her whenever she was done with her shrine maiden duties. Having been trained in the use of chakra as part of appreciating Gyuki’s “gift”, Senhime had more than proven that she had a naturally high level of not only chakra reserves, but control of said abundance of chakra in spades. When taken in combination with her dutifulness in performing the clan’s rites, it was no wonder that she was to be given the title of head shrine maiden at the age of seventeen. However, she would not hold this position long, for the Hamajo Confederation would soon arrive to make a statement. The attack was swift, and while the Osuushi put up a valiant fight, it was not enough to prevent the loss of the shrine. Having killed a few of the attackers and incurring a few wounds, Senhime was entrusted with taking Akumako away from Kirigakure to some place safe. So, with a heavy heart, Senhime took young Kuko and fled, thereby leaving their mother and father to their fate at the hands of the Confederation’s strike unit. Left with no home and no destination, Senhime wandered with five-year-old Akumako in tow until she eventually came into contact with a band of rebels under the banner of the Jiyuna no Guntai. After explaining that she and her sister were survivors of the massacre in Kirigakure, the revolutionaries took her in. However, while they would give young Kuko shelter, it was under the condition that Senhime earn her keep. Seeing that as a fair tradeoff, and harboring a rage towards the organization that had massacred her village, Senhime took up their offer without hesitation. As such, Senhime began to officially train as a shinobi. Due to her already prodigious mastery of her chakra and keen mind, it wasn’t long before Senhime was considered to be combat ready. From then on, Senhime spent her years acting in service of the cause of liberation from the rule of the Hamajo Confederation, building a reputation as one of the Jiyutai’s greatest fighters. However, during her time in the Jiyutai, Senhime had long since noticed signs of in-fighting between the various interests that made up the bulk of the Unfettered’s forces. As such, she took upon the task of properly uniting the Jiyutai under her own leadership, a task made easy to accomplish due to an almost unanimous respect for Senhime’s character and accomplishments. Thus, at the age of twenty-six, Senhime became the commander of the Jiyuna no Guntai’s forces, and public enemy number one in the eyes of the Hamajo Confederation’s ranks. In the two years since becoming the Jiyutai’s commander, Senhime has been weaving fine silk clothing for sale by merchants sympathetic to the rebels’ cause. Such extravagant wares fetch a hefty price, and are often bought by the wealthy. In order to prevent the merchants from being linked back to Senhime and the Jiyutai, she has instructed the merchants to give them the name “Gingako” whenever they are asked who the designer is. The proceeds from this business are split between the merchants and Senhime, who has been slowly building up funds to better equip the rebels

❖ Familial ties--
While Senhime and Akumako’s parents were still alive, Senhime was incredibly close to them. As such, Senhime has taken their fall during the Kirigakure massacre much harder than Kuko, who was too small to remember them much from her childhood. Being both her blood sibling and only other known member remaining of the Osuushi bloodline, Senhime holds young Kuko very near and dear to her heart. And, of course, when all is said and done she would like to rebuild the Osuushi clan shrine, even if it’s mostly a project to symbolize the reclaimation of the Hidden Mist and to satisfy the desires of young Kuko. As for her fears, she has long since cast away any concern over her own death, coming to understand after many hard-fought battles for the Jiyuna no Guntai that it’s the lot she chose when she joined the rebels to begin with. However, she still fears that she may lose Akumako, which feeds into her hesitance to allow her younger sister onto the battlefield. And, while to a far lesser degree, she extends the same worry towards the new “family” the Osuushi sisters have found within the Jiyuna no Guntai, who currently depend on her to lead them to victory. While moving around the battlefield, she deftly sets up silk structures to obstruct enemy movement and make them have to pay greater attention to their position during any given fight, thereby diverting attention from Senhime herself. This makes the Jiyutai Commander’s already masterful sword skills even more deadly than normal. Senhime is fond of employing quick draw maneuvers, delivering multiple blows at a speed which makes them appear almost simultaneous. When her sword is sheathed, she’ll often use it as a blunt instrument, taking advantage of the weapon’s length to almost use it like a staff. As far as taijutsu goes, Senhime isn’t exactly a master, but her strength level makes up for it. Typically, she uses kicks to keep her hands free for using the sword or certain Kinuton techniques. Due to the range and coverage of her Kinuton, she has often been known to fight alone, but it is generally understood that her younger sister, Akumako, is more than capable of fighting even within the complicated matrixes the Jiyutai Commander controls.

❖ Kekkei Genkai--
❖ Name
Kinuton (Silk Release)
❖ Description
A Kekkai Tota that combines the Wind, Water and Earth chakra natures. Through the use of Kinuton, one can generate strands of “silk” that take on a variety of properties depending on the balance of chakra natures within each strand. Common uses include making the “silk” incredibly sharp, or giving it a more sticky, gooey form. With Senhime’s level of skill and chakra control, she’s capable of changing the properties of her “silk” even after its creation.
❖ Strengths
Kinuton is, first and foremost, incredibly versatile. Usable offensively, defensively, or even to aid in mobility and reconnaissance. Kinuton works especially well in urban or indoor areas where there are fewer avenues of escape from larger, more advanced silk formations. And due to its variable range, it can work incredibly well in both one-on-one combat, or even one highly-skilled Kinuton user against several opponents.
❖ Weaknesses
The most glaring weakness of Kinuton is that it happens to be fairly weak to fire-based jutsu. As such, if one can set the silk ablaze from a safe distance, they can neutralize the silk, though some silk compositions are harder to set ablaze than others. Open fields also make the use of advanced silk formations difficult. Without adequate surfaces to attach the silk to, maintaining the structures becomes more taxing on chakra use without creative input on the user’s part. Also, due to the spread nature of many greater silk structures, it is often advisable that the user fights independently to avoid potential harm to allies.

❖ Ninja techniques
■ S rank techniques Kinuton: Million Thread Matrix Kinuton: Battlefield Tuning Fork ■ A rank techniques Cubism Kinuton: Adamantine Six-Point Aegis Kinuton: Battle Speculation ■ B rank techniques Samurai Sabre Technique Flash Kinuton: Kinu Dangan no Jutsu Kinuton: Gossamer Drill Reverse Divider ■ C rank techniques Iaido ■ D/E rank techniques Basic Techniques

❖ Custom techniques
■ Name Kinuton: Million Thread Matrix

■ Rank S

■ Range Variable in accordance to battlefield conditions

■ Description Believed to be the “ultimate” technique of the Silk Release. At Senhime’s level of proficiency, she is capable of changing the formation and structure of the “silk” strands in accordance with her needs. Due to the fact that many don’t get the chance to count the amount of strands used, and the fact that Senhime can also add more silk to an existing matrix, the accuracy of the technique’s name is questionable, but not exactly implausible. In the buildup to the eventual death of the targets, those caught in the vibrating prison may experience nausea, vomiting, loss of balance and even deafness due to collapsed inner ear cillia. The technique has impressive offensive power, but its primary use is in restraining opponents. If one wishes to escape after already being pierced by the strands, they are typically left with attempting the difficult task of cutting the silk as their only option. The primary task is taking care of the shrine and the surrounding small temple, cleaning it and lighting the candles every day. Furthermore, worship of Gyuki is very prominent in this clan, perhaps due to the likeliness to this tailed beast. Some other customs include the lack of political influence, as well as their lack of participation in the shinobi forces of Kirigakure before it was massacred. Their clan had always been a non-descript clan before the fateful day when they inherited their horns, and after that they were largely left alone to develop their own shinobi arts. Due to this, none of them really seemed to attend shinobi academy, and as such, it was apparent that they were a clan of shinobi who lived in Kirigakure only by proxy, not because they wanted to be part of Kirigakure. Until some time ago they also dressed in traditional religious wardrobe, going as far as to dress as monks. However, with the times that changed and the Osuushi became free to wear what they wanted during the duration of their off-duty times. On the duty of being a shrine maiden, they were of course forced to wear religious clothing that fit the duties, but that was merely a four hour period of every day.

◈ Special Traits

Apart from the horns? The Osuushi clan is blessed with a virile and capable level of shinobi skills, having a natural strength due to their (presumed) history, as well as having an extraordinary level of chakra. Most Osuushi never learn to control their chakra, as most of them are not interested in shinobi arts. Those that are however find that their chakra, while plentiful, is naturally hard to control for some reason. Senhime is among the few who seems to be capable of controlling it to the point of becoming a skilled shinobi, where as Akumako is totally incapable of performing chakra control, barely being able to use it to climb surfaces. However, the chakra she does use is often volatile and dangerous, which is a trait of the Osuushi clan, a trait which Senhime does not possess and therefore has put her in a somewhat a-typical position within the clan. Another special trait is their hard work ethic. As the name suggests, they are related and find a 'spirit animal' of sorts in the oxes, which are hard working animals that don't really complain that often. However, this has less to do with physical traits or anything related especially to the Osuushi clan, but rather is just the way that they are raised. You take care of the shrine and you do it without complaining, because that's our destiny.

◈ Influences

The Osuushi influences have mostly been religious, as their 'worship of Gyuki' has taken on a small scale of following. Most of the followers are Osuushi clan members that are typically found with horns on their head. Those other followers are small in number, and have joined the cult on own volition after visiting the shrine. In total the shrine ranks around 50 in people - that is, before the attack happened and most of the followers of Gyuki died. Those that escaped, like Senhime and Akumako, are now left without a shrine and therefore have to wander aimlessly looking for a new location for worship. Sadly, that place will never exist, because the shrine was the only viable place of worship. As you can tell from this, their influence has always been small and, recently, has become even smaller due to the deaths among their ranks. Or is it? With the arrival of Senhime in the Jiyutai, quickly rising through the ranks to eventually take over a small splinter group, and then unite the Jiyutai to a degree, their influence has become larger, though they are still small in number and the numbers are unlikely to go up soon. Never the less, at the end of the story, the Osuushi are small, but with Senhime at the head of an army that is beginning to provide a threat to the Hamajo Confederation.

◈ Relations

None to speak of.

◈ History

Long, long ago, when the waves were still full of fish in the territories of Kirigakure, there was a fisherman. His name was Oss Kimedo, a non-assuming man, who was still young and in his prime. He didn't do much, and lived in a cabin near the ocean, where he'd fish for his own fish sometimes, and would sell the left over fish. He was relatively poor, but that didn't stop him from fishing like he loved to do. Until one lucky day he found a gift of Gyuki himself. As luck would have it, Gyuki got one of his horns cut off in an assault, unknown to Oss at this time was that A, the Raikage, had cut off the horn. As he pulled up his net, he saw that the horn was stuck in it, glowing purple. Not realizing what it was, he took it home, where he more carefully examined it. In this period of time he held the horn up to his head, perhaps as a result of a vision he received telling him to do so. The horn became attached to his head and slowly integrated with his skull, disappearing and then re-appearing as two horns on the side of his head. This would be the birth of the Osuushi clan, as he renamed himself after his new likelihood - that of an Ox, like Gyuki was. [sub]Gyuki, the horn missing[/sub] Following that, the powers of Gyuki flowed through him. Not like a pseudo-jinchuuriki, obviously, as he had no natural shinobi powers. Merely his chakra multiplied a lot, and he became a lot more capable physically. Despite having the perfect chance to adapt to a shinobi lifestyle, he chose not to, instead erecting a shrine in the name of Gyuki in his house. Over the course of time, his offspring also gained horns, and so the Osuushi clan grew, and so did the house. Slowly it became a temple with a large shrine of Gyuki inside it, the tailed beast being revered as the source of power for the Osuushi clan members. Some artifacts made it's way to this location, some being 'given voluntarily' while others were gifted by passer by's who held some sort of relevant article to Gyuki. This posed an interesting question as they were frequently assaulted by vagabonds, who tried to steal these artifacts. Using the power given to them by the eight tails, they managed to defeat these vagabonds time and time again, which was proof of their strength despite not being shinobi's. Their service continued until 11 years ago, when their service was swiftly ended with the arrival of covert forces, which were suspected Hamajo Confederate Loyalists, who ended the lives of all those in Kirigakure. As the shrine was on the outskirts of Kirigakure, they had some time to react, but stubborn people of the Osuushi clan predicted that Gyuki would defend them, which was true to a degree. Using their natural power, the veteran shrine maidens and keepers were capable of defending themselves against the initial patrols of the attackers, which weren't quite the capable soldiers that could defend against untrained, but very strong and zealous defenders of Gyuki. However as more Osuushi fell, the elderly were left to defend themselves, and naturally that didn't go so well. Senhime was the sole survivor, it seemed, only due to her natural shinobi expertise. She grabbed Akumako, and made a run for it, luckily escaping the shinobi with the usage of her jutsu.
