Fantastic. Amy sighed, although the look on the other girl's face would have been hilarious in any other situation. With a sigh, she grabbed the other girl by the arm and took her off to the side of the path, just so that her explanation would probably not be overheard. Still, to avoid whatever that thing had been, she decided to keep the field wide enough to shut off the other girl's powers. From what Amy had felt, it seemed like they'd mess with her head, so best to avoid letting that happen. She really wasn't sure where to start when it came to explaining herself. "I take it that you were using your power there." she said, raising an eyebrow. "And it didn't work. That about right?" she said, making eye contact with the girl just to make her point completely clear. Amy held it for a moment, managing to keep a completely straight face. The look on the other girl's face was absolutely priceless. As funny as the girl's shock was, Amy really did need to make a few things clear just in case. Giving her a moment to get herself together, Amy decided to start explaining. "Okay, so three things. One." she raised a finger on her right hand. "In case you've not figured it out, that's my power. I can basically shut everyone else off. Two," she raised a second finger. "I would really, really appreciate if you not tell people this, because I'm able to fly under the radar right now, and I'd prefer to keep it that way. And three," she smiled, holding out a hand for the other girl to shake. "Name's Amy, and I'll still show you to B Wing if you want me to. What's your name, anyway? I've not seen you about campus before." She looked at the other girl properly, trying to gauge her reaction. Hopefully she wouldn't freak out about it, but it kind of depended how attached she was to being a super. At the very least, she didn't instantly strike Amy as a bad person, so unless she started listening to all the wrong people, Amy figured her secret would be safe for a while at least. Might as well be optimistic about her chances.
