Ken stepped out of enclave and was about to go into the dunes but suddenly a hand was on his shoulder, a firm hand on him that he knew all too well. A hand that had both pointed out many things and had punished him for all of his failures. The closest thing to an uncle he had ever had in his life time and a great friend. He turned around and slowly looked upon the battle scarred face of his old master Org Gle. The Weequay jedi master had scars on his face, hands, and even his robes were clearly knitted back together. A jedi master who had more in line with some of the greatest battle masters of the order than he did with Ken's kind. A firm but honest jedi who's passion with the force was only rivaled by his strong work ethic. His dark brown robes and his light tan short and black pants mixed oddly but he didn't care about fashion. "Ken it has been too long I thought you were going to meet me." The Master said with a firm and gravelly tone. It was like the master ate rocks when he talked but Ken supposed a jedi as rough and tough as him probably would sound like he did. "Master....I'm sorry. I just wanted too get away from things. I just had a rather unpleasant experience." Ken said and he would've said more before the master pulled the younger jedi in for a rough hug as the man patted Ken's back with strong and repeated slaps. "You can tell me later my boy but for now let me just take this in. I have been without a good partner for a long time." Org said as he chuckled softly and Ken smiled hugging his master back. He knew Gle would never in his life admit to missing his former apprentice but he probably did. The man was as hard as a boulder with all the insides of a cotton ball. "It has been far too long master I should've sought you out first. But I'm glad you're here now and I wish events would allow me to go with you more often but I am a diplomat now not a warrior." Ken said with a grin as the master let him go and snorted while laughing. "As if you could if you wanted to! You wouldn't be able to handle what I do in a million years! You're still too squishy. Maybe when your skin gets harder and you develop a proper battle technique you'd be out there with me. But NOOOOO you had to join the consulars and waste your time reading books. Bah." Gle said with a haughty grin as Ken shook his head and laughed. "Not all of us can be Weequay berserkers master. Besides maybe you'd learn something more than how to bludgeon something to death. Remember that time on Utapau when you almost got us caught because you couldn't open that door?" Ken said remembering the time where he and his master had gone to Utapau to track down some sort of black market dealers and found them in a hidden hideout somewhere in one of Utapau's many cliffs. Org and he had done well in infiltrating the base but his lack of computer skills hadn't enabled him to hack the door which nearly made the master gut the machine to pieces and carved through the door with his saber. A young boy named Ken had managed to actually open the door with the hand of an Astro-Mech Droid. It didn't take too long and they'd manage to get proof of the area's existence and some of the supplies before reporting it to a nearby Republic ship and returning to Coruscant. "The door had it coming and besides you took too long fiddling with it. Let's not dwell too long on that particular event. Or must I remind you about that time with the cannocks on Nar Shadda?" Ken figited and remembered that particular event even less fondly than that because of that particular mission's events that had nearly killed both of the jedi. "Perhaps it'd be best if we just got and sit down for a bit then." Org said as he took his former apprentice's arm and pulled him as the jedi knight followed his master towards a nearby clearing in order to meditate away from all the other jedi. Truth be told ken was glad things ended up this way. His master may not be graceful but he was a good man.
