Once Kurama does find out, I think he's going to have to train like he did for the Dark Tournament, but he definitely can't leave his mother or Botan unattended since they ARE targets. Koenma might want to bring Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Hiei in on this since Goshikuro is a threat that may be higher than Toguro ever was, but Yoko may want to handle this personally and correct his mistake.
