It's going to be SUPER out of character for him, but no one's going to doubt it because no one ever has a reason to start a nasty rumor about Kurama. He shows up to school with a secret girlfriend he had kept from everyone all that time. It makes sense that he'd go to great lengths to protect her, especially considering what almost happened to her. I don't think anyone has the guts, boy or girl, to confirm it. People just believe it. And Botan isn't spoken badly or disgustingly about at school again. They can keep that shit to themselves.

Yeah we can make it maybe the first one they handle before the harder, tear-jerker types. And it figures the ONE he doesn't show up for is the one that has Botan come home fighting a lake full of tears, right?

EDIT - Done. I LOL'd at "Demons afoot", even if it was my own joke. And I could have gone on and one about how to fight but there wasn't time, and there was no sense overloading Botan with more information than she needed to dispatch a lowly demon. Also, I swear, the demon's just going for the chest because it wants to hold on to something. If Botan misses and it lands on her chest, well, she has a second chance at beating the shit out of it.
