Avary threw more rocks at the wolves. He decided it wasn't doing any good, so he ran over to that Zo guy. He pointed at the wolves urgently, because he doubted he spoke sign language. He grabbed a stick shaped piece of drywall in case the guy couldn't or wouldn't help.
