While I take too damn long to write up the first IC post (Because I still play too many vidya games), bide your time with some character exercises!

Provide a quote of your character describing their own morality.

Someone is getting mugged/assaulted in an alleyway! What does your character do?

Your character has invited someone to dinner, where will they go?

Hmmm. 1. Nick: "I'm not a good person, but I'm not a bad one either. I'm just a guy who wants to be left alone - I don't think that's too much to ask." April: "Folks gotta look out for each other, right? I just think everybody deserves a fair deal, and anybody trying to take that from anybody else deserves an asskicking." 2. None of my business. Nick pulls his hood over his head and keeps walking, slightly faster. April, however, probably immediately skates in and attempts to beat the stuffing out of the mugger, seeing the victim safely on their way and neglecting to call the police after she's done. 3. Well, Nick's probably not asking anyone out to dinner, but that answer's not in the spirit of the prompt. Given that he is both a very insular person and also dirt poor, whoever Nick is with gets their pick of the crappiest restaurant in his crappy neighborhood or sitting in his nightmarishly bug-infested apartment and eating a pizza. Wooo. April's taking whatever lucky lad/lady she's with out to the local gastropub / bar and grill, where she will order something large and greasy and probably have a bit too much to drink.
