ZEPPELI!]

Waterbridge Airport, Roseview. The plane arrived, Malik stepped off, and got a good look of the Washington environment. He stepped out of the airport, carting some luggage behind him. This isn't Malik's first time in America, nor will it be his last. However, until he finds out where his friend is, he can't leave. He reached into his pocket, and pulled out his phone. Even though he's on a mission, he can't let his loyal Instagram following down! He aimed the phone at himself, and pressed the camera button, and immediately snapped a picture of himself outside the airport. He captioned his message with:
[pre]You know what I watched on the plane ride here? Here's a hint: It stars Eddie Murphy![/pre]
Malik laughed as he hit send. He should be taking this seriously - his best friend's life is at stake here. He needed to find her soon as possible, so he can continue his search. Actually... He heard that Baybridge has a sizable Metahuman population. There has to be someone here who can heal his dad before his condition worsens. Hopefully. Though, he has another close and personal friend who should be arriving soon.... ... And with perfect timing a beat up van came to a skidding stop right in front of Malik. The man had to jump back, he was so startled by it. The window rolled down, and revealed a darkskinned woman. "... Wah gwan, Malik!" The woman said in a very thick Jamaican accent (Technically, she was speaking Jamaican). The woman was very short, and thin as a rail. She didn't have any muscle tone or curves so to speak. Though, she had a pretty pronounced, and avian face. Her hair was black, and tied up into tiny braids - said hair is a afro-texture. Because she is Jamaican. She was wearing an orange dress, and sneakers. "Tanya, you scared me half to death with that," Malik said, looking at his friend. "Wait, I thought you said you were send somebody?" "I did," Tanya said with a giggle. "They said they couldn't make it." Malik groaned, because he had found memories of his friend's driving.
Courtbridge, Prince Ed-Field. Malik was awkwardly in the back of the vehicle, holding on for dear life. Tanya took a sharp (and very sudden) right that sent Malik falling off his seat (Even while holding onto the seatbelt of the other chair). "Oh? Sorry 'bout that, honey!" Tanya said as she took a gander at Malik before looking at the road. "Took that turn a little too hard?!" "Are the American standards that low?!" Malik asked, face still on the carpet of the vehicle "No, I just use my celebrity status to get me out of all the tickets," Tanya said in a thick Jamaican accent as she looked back, giving Malik a wide smile. While getting up, Malik looked up and shouted. "... LOOKOUT!" While she was grinning at Malik, they were about to crash into a car. They both let out a yell, as Tanya slammed on the breaks, and the car came to a skidding stop. And Malik went face first into the dashboard. Letting out yet another groan as pain overtook him. Tanya looked at him, and said. "... Sorry."
After that last traffic incident, Malik and Tanya arrived at her apartment complex. "Huh?" Tanya asked as she watched Malik pull his (battered) luggage bag out the back of her van. "I thought a high-rolla like yourself would get a big fancy five-star hotel room? Hell, I'd love to do a sleep over with you." "Yeah, Tanya, but..." Malik said as he scratched the back of his neck. "This whole trip is kinda impromptu, y'know?" "Not really." "I was in such a rush to come to America that I forgot to book a room." Malik said, embarrassed. "Oh? Oh. Ha." Tanya said. "Well, you're welcome to stay here long as you'd like...." Tanya walked around the vehicle to Malik and grabbed the luggage bag. "... You're really determined to save this girl?" Tanya asked, as a friendly smile formed on her face. "Then, how about I put this bag away for you? You hero you." She giggled. "Go stretch your legs - go practice that parkour you brag about." "Yeah... thanks..." It was really ungentlemanly to make Tanya carry his bags in, but she was right. Maybe she should get a feel for Baybridge. From what the booklets say, he's in Courtbridge. The fun part of Baybridge. He walked into an alleyway, and hopped up to the fire escape by running up the wall, and then climbed his way to the top. The weather's lovely today. It would be ruined by a storm.
