To go off of that, some armor was so well made that NASA was looking at it while designing early space suits (specifically the Apollo suits and King Henry's plate butt armor)

It is good to mention I based Eadwig's equipment based off of his social status. He is a commoner so he likely cannot afford full plate, and the equipment he has is likely gained from savings and from scavenging during war.

This link gives a price for a lot of common medieval items during the Anglo-Saxon period. Notice that a sword in Britain is 24K pounds, and 660pounds in Western Europe, and a horse costs 3k. I am not sure how accurate the prices are, but its a fun thing to take into account if anyone wants to. Of course this is a fantasy roleplay, so we can have whatever we want no matter what so long as it is fun and makes a good story.
